I got divorced in 8-2010 and I signed a quitclaim deed and in the addendum "h" letter in our divorce agreement it says The my EX husband is to assume and pay said mortgage and to hold wife harmless with respect to the mortgage. But it also says if his mortgage affects me to take him back to court.

For 6 years I never one has this mortgage on my credit report it showed I had No mortgage.

I built my score up to a 750 and just signed for a house that was on short sale for me and my kids. The house was move in condition and only 250k and was worth a lot more. I signed in Jan 2016 and waited for the bank to approve the short sale. In may I had a alert on my credit report saying I now have a mortgage and I was 180 day pass due 2 times and 33 late payments my score dropped to 595 and a week later the short sale was approved and I lost the house due to my new score.

I called the SPS company who after like 5 calls and forever on the phone said I signed the quitclaim deed so he was able to put me in debt without my consent and that it should have always have been on my credit report and it was an errea on their part.I said if I would have known 6 yrs ago I could have made him refi then and took care of it but because of their mistake I just lost a house. ..they kept stringing me long saying they would try to get it off. then they came back with they couldn't and I would have to have my ex sell in order to get me off because he couldn't refi because of his credit. My ex husband called them one last time to see if their was any way he could keep the house and get me off this is now june 2016 and the woman told him she would send him paper I would have to sign them to restructure it and then 2 weeks later they could take me off.

After he got the papers and asked me to sign I asked him where all the papers that said what was going to happen and he said they didnt send them so I called, the woman I spoke with said the last they talked to my ex he hung up because they said there was nothing that could be done so I asked her if it was recorded and she said yes, she listened to the call with her manager and came back and said yes they did say that to him and she was sorry but that was not the truth it would have made ME responsible for paying it. I submitted another request to get this off all 3 of my credit burrows and and a month later I called to follow up with it and the woman I talked to said they sent a letter out to all 3 on aug 4 saying I'm not responsible for this, I asked if I could have a copy and she said she would submit the request for one to be sent to my address. I never received any letter so last week I called to follow up on the letter and they said they never sent anything to my credit reports that they sent me a letter on the 4th saying there is nothing they could do.

I want my outcome to be for them to take it off my credit report. If this was on there 6 years ago I could have already taking care of it but because of their error I lost a house and lost my good credit and now my ex has to sell his house.

I am a single mom of 3 and I worked my but off to bring my score up from my divorce 6 years ago to finally be able to buy a home of my own and lost everything and I will never be able to with this on there. I just want my credit back

If you haven't left your house, don't. If you have, you still have time to reclaim your property but I think the deadline is the 23rd of this month.
